The Slanted Woman's Summer Sweater
Please Note: The date listed below is the 1st of three classes. Remaining class dates will be determined by the students & Patti
Saturday, June 14 / 12pm-2pm

$85.00 (Materials must be purchased at Yarn Knit All!) -- Additional sessions available for an additional fee

The Woman's Sweater Workshop Series gets a twist this month! Instead of starting with a pattern, we start with a fiber! Finally an opportunity to fall in love with a yarn and be able to make it up into a gorgeous Summer Sweater! Patti will take you down a different path on you knitting journey with a sweater - on the bias - which enables you to use whatever type and weight yarn you desire and still have it work for the pattern (it adjusts according to the weight and gauge of your yarn!)
We are so excited to offer this class as we have all been in the predicament of loving a yarn and not having a pattern that works for it. Patti brings her same extensive sweater experience and expertise to another sure fire success of a class. We hope you will join us!

This workshop will guide students through the creation of a basic woman's summer knitted sweater on the bias using a basic pattern framework.

Workshop I:- Patti will assist students in determining the size of their sweater. Students will bring two of their own sweaters to class (one light weight, one a heavier weight) to get measurements for the sweater they will be making as the sweater they bring to class should be in the similar yarn weight to what they plan on making. During the first class students will determine the measurements of their sweater, review the pattern, pick out yarn, determine gauge and finally determine the amount of yarn needed for the project and finally, get started knitting.

Workshop II and III: dates will be determined jointly with the students and Patti for ease of everyone's' busy summer schedules.
(Lesson plans for these workshops will be determined by Patti upon completion of workshop two and progress made by students.)

This class is limited to 5 intermediate to advanced knitters.
